Asana

A great free tool that keeps your business organized. It is also great for team collaboration and is free for up to 15 members. It is simple to use and helps your stay on top of your to do list.

Wave

Another favourite tool of ours makes you feel like you have a fully functioning accounting department at your disposal. From invoicing to payment collections, wave is the perfect way to organize your freelance finances. Wave was created for small businesses and couldn’t be easier to use.

Toggl

Time tracking is super important for freelancers. Keeping track of the time you spend on your projects with a software will help you make sure you are getting paid for the time you spend. Toggl makes this really easy. If you upgrade to the $10/ month starter package you can add your hourly rate so that your clients see how much time you have spent on their projects and what it has costs plus add your logo and send a bill straight from Toggl. Uber professional and easy to use.

Proposify

One of the most time consuming parts of freelancing is sending out proposals, and it’s the part that often doesn’t get paid for. You may not get that client after putting hours into putting together a proposal. Using Proposify not only makes that way easier but the free proposal templates look great. Using Proposify will probably help you land more clients, we are very big fans of this tool.
