Every freelancer knows that their knowledge level and business growth can always improve. To stay competitive and to have a successful freelancing career, you not only need to stay on top of your skill development but also learn how to run a business. A great way to do this is to tap into a community of freelancers that can offer tips and advice. Some of those communities can be found in the podcast arena. We love podcasts. Working from home can be fun but also a little lonely. You can feel a little disconnected from the rest of the workforce. Listening to podcasts helps to fill that void. At the same time, they often help to further your education in your niche area and offer good advice on growing your business.

We have compiled a list of some of our favourite podcasts which range from tips to just general support and community networking.

The name says it all. This podcast is all about the world of freelancing. Paul Jarvis’ weekly freelancing podcast goes over the ups and downs of trying to make it in the freelance world. There will definitely be topics that will resonate with every freelancer no matter what level or niche. It really helps to know that you are not alone in some of your struggles. There is a question and answer aspect that allows for any listeners to send in their questions so if you have questions about your freelance business, connect with this community and get some answers.

If you are just at the beginning stages of your freelancing career then this one is for you. This podcast will help you take things from side hustle to earning a salary that makes you feel like you have a financially successful career. In this podcast you will learn how to transform into a successful solopreneur. Everything from marketing funnels to mastering your social media. There is a wealth of information here and if you follow their advice you will be on your way to having a great freelancing career in no time.

This is by far our favourite social media podcast. Host Michael Stelzner teaches you everything you need to know and helps you stay on top of this rapidly evolving space.

The Freelancers' Show discusses the challenges that freelancers face. The panel includes technology freelancers and entrepreneurs. Lot’s of great topics that are curated just from freelancers.
