Here at Sagegroupy we take pride in helping clients and freelancers connect. Freelancers can create profiles that outline their skills and provide evidence of their accomplishments, with links to their portfolios, websites, past projects, and clients’ reviews. Clients can view the complete profiles of our large pool of talented freelancers at anytime. Now we have made it even easier for clients and freelancers to connect by establishing a job board. Clients can post their project and have freelancers apply for the position. Just follow our step-by-step guide to posting and you will find the right freelancer for the job in no time.

Step 1: Get Started

Create a new client profile on our Sagegroupy platform. If you are already a member, login into Sagegroupy. Once you have logged in, under Hire select and click on New Job to create a new position to post to the job board.

Step 2: Define the Parameters

Before you post your job to the job board, you need to define the parameters of the job so that you can attract suitable freelancers. Give the job a straight-forward title and include a brief description of the work you would like the freelancer to complete. Then you can select the payment terms for the project from the drop-down menu. In order to find an optimal match, especially if you want to hire locally, you can add your country and city to the posting. Be sure to include whether the position is a full-time, part-time, contract, or a one-off freelance job so you do not have applications from people who are unable to meet your time requirements. Choose the necessary skill or skills from the drop-down menu that a freelancer must possess in order to complete the project, and state any necessary experience needed for the job.

Step 3: Attach Documents

Once you have defined the parameters for the position, you can add any relevant documents for the job to the posting. By having a space to add additional documents to the job posting, Sagegroupy allows for the freedom to give a more detailed job description, an example of the type of contract you expect to have, samples of work you like or anything else you deem relevant.

Step 4: Post It

When you have finished defining the parameters of the positions and attached the relevant documents, click on Save Job at the bottom of the screen and your job will be posted to the job board on Sagegroupy. Freelancers can then view your posting and apply for the position.

Step 5: Choose your Freelancer

You will receive notifications when freelancers apply for the job and you can then view their resume, screening them to find the right fit for your project. At this point, depending on your needs, you can select a freelancer and get started, or you can choose a few freelancers to interview. If you are unsure of what to look for when interviewing, check out our post on How to Interview a Freelancer for some guidance.

If you follow these five easy steps, you will find the right freelancer for the job in no time! If at any stage of the process you have any trouble do not hesitate to reach out to us, we are happy to help.
